Flower Arrangements On arrival: Check water level. Add warm water. Remove all foliage bellow the water line. Keep vase full by adding water with floral preservative daily. If arranging foam is used, saturate it thoroughly in warm water and floral preservations. Place your arrangement in a cool location, out of direct sunlight. Keep out of hot or cold areas and away from fans, hot air or icy drafts. Add warm water daily. When rearranging, re-cut stem ends with a sharp knife and refill clean vase with warm water and floral preservative. Keep off TV! (Set is hot when in use) Cut Flowers and Floral Arrangements If the flowers are arranged in floral styromousse (oasis), you need only to add water every day. The foam will act as a preservative and will help to prolong the life of the flowers. Place them in a fresh place, safe from draught heat sources. Rose Arrangement - On Arrival: Same concept as Flower Arrangement.
- Daily Care: Also same concept as Flower Arrangement.
- If rose wilts, submerge entire flower and stem in tub or tray of warm water. While under water, straighten the rose and cut 2” from stem with a sharp knife. Allow rose about 2 hours under water to revive.
- To rearrange your roses, re-cut stem ends underwater using a sharp knife. Place roses in a clean container with warm water containing floral preservative.
- Set in cool location out of direct sunlight. Avoid excessively hot or cold areas.
Green Plants - Moderately bright light is preferred. Place near a sunny window but protect from direct sun.
- Moderately moist soil is best, avoid over watering. Shallow non-draining containers require less frequent watering than those with drainage.
- Temperatures found in most homes are acceptable, but moderate locations are preferred. Ideally 70-72ºF (21-22ºC) days, 65-70ºF (18-21ºC) nights.
- Fertilize periodically, following manufacturer's directions.
Dish Gardens - Medium Light locations are preferred. Place near a sunny window. Protect from direct sun. Place your hand 1 foot above the area you've chosen. You should get a distinct shadow.
- Moderately moist soil is best, avoid over watering. Shallow non-draining containers require less frequent watering than those with drainage.
- Tropical green plants prefer temperatures that are warm: 70-72ºF (21-22ºC) days 65-70ºF (18-21ºC) nights.
